Teaming up with Virtue and Media Monks to create the sound of Coca-Cola’s new flavor, Wozzaah.

In anticipation of Africa Day, Coca-Cola dropped its newest addition to the Creation series: Coca-Cola® Wozzaah, a harmony of flavors inspired by the vibrant pulse of African culture.

With a vision centered around capturing the nuances of a continent known for its musical innovation and cultural influence across the globe, the sonic expression of the new flavor had to be as good as it tastes.

Off the back of their previous Coke collaborations, Virtue, Media Monks, and Two AM set out to discover the rhythm of the continent’s boundless creativity. What they landed on was a daring new take on iconic African beats, vivid melodic waves, and some of the biggest bass you’ve heard–a sound just as unique as the new Wozzaah flavour.

Creating a song of this nature required deep experimentation, drawing from various genres and remixing traditional elements. It all started with the tempo and groove, an essential foundation of connecting the sonic tapestry with the vibrant visual direction. The campaign’s strong focus on authentic storytelling meant the music had to be true to African culture, with just the right energy to transport listeners to the world of Wozzaah.

This collaboration was not only about creating the right sound, but more so about celebrating a continent’s spirit through its most universal language: music, fueling a cultural symphony that connects with fans on a global scale.
